After a strong 1st quarter, real estate in Eagle County continues to remain steady through April with more than $130 million in sales. This is just 5% off the dollar volume from April, 2008, and more than twice the volume from 2009. There were 116 total transactions in April bringing the year to date total to 392; double that of 2009.
New development sales, along with 4 high end properties selling in April, contributed to April’s success.
- Solaris was the priciest residential property sale at $6.775 million
- Manor Vail had 2 units sell, averaging nearly $2.4 million
- LandMark-Vail had 1 sale for $2.75 million
- Westin Riverfront had 9 more sales averaging $619 per square foot
While new developments and high-end properties have significantly contributed to our overall numbers, 65% of all transactions have been sold for less than $1 million. More than 60% of transactions are multi-family homes.
April Highlights:

Eagle had 18 transactions, the most of any area
